(1.2) The instructions given in the exam paper are final (format of exam & etc).
(1.3) The information shared in this Blogspot is for explanation, guidance & reference only and it is subjected to changes as it appears at (1.1) & (1.2) above. Having said that, you are advised to always refer to the information given at (1.1) & (1.2).

NEW Exam Format: May 2021 to August 2021 Semester

Only apply for the following Two (2) Subjects:
(1) EIT632 Fundamental of Instructional Technology
(2) EMI643 Models of Instruction

New Exam Format for these 2 subjects:
Examination (40%) consists of Part A (Quiz, 20%) & Part B (2 Essay Questions, 20%)
Part A consist of 20 Multiple-choice Questions (MCQ), usually called as Objective Questions
For details, refer to "Assessment" at myPLS.

Note: For Re-Sit/Re-Take papers, and the rest of Other Subjects, the Exam Format is still maintained the same, using the Old Format, that is 4 Essay Questions (40%).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

FAQ (a): Can I download the questions after 9:00 am on 07th August 2021? For example, can I download it at 8:00 pm (night time)on 07th August 2021?
Answer: Yes. You can download it any time after 9:00 am, 07th August 2021. You can download it at 11 am 3 pm, 8 pm on 07th August 2021. You can also download it on 08th, 09th, 10th August 2021.

For Example:
You can download EIT632 at 8:00 pm on 07th August 2021
You can download EIT632 at 9:00 pm on 10th August 2021

Note:
OR you can get your classmate to download it for you.
BUT only you yourself can upload the exam answers at myPLS. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

FAQ (b): Can I upload and submit the answers early, say 8:00 am on Saturday, 14th August 2021? Or can I upload and submit the answer on Friday (13 August 2021)?
Answer: Yes. You can upload and submit the answers early anytime BEFORE 9:00 am on 14th August 2021. You can also upload and submit the answer on Friday (13 August), Thursday (12 August).

For Example:
You can upload & submit the answer for EIT632 at 8:00 am on 14th August 2021 (Saturday)
You can upload & submit the answer for EIT632 at 6:00 pm on 13 August 2021 (Thursday)

Note: Try to AVOID to submit at the LAST minute & LAST day, just in case Internet Line DOWN, Computer DOWN, system problem, IT problems......unforeseen circumstance & unpredictable events.

FAQ (c): Can I upload and submit a LATE answer AFTER 9:00 am on 14th August 2021?
Answer: No. You cannot submit and upload the answer after 9:00 am on 14th August 2021. In this case, you did not submit the Answer, and you will get "I" grade, incomplete marks. You need to send an email to request a re-sit exam and the charges will be RM90 for each subject.

FAQ (d): Can I edit the file after submitting the exam answer at myPLS?
Answer: Only one (1) attempt to submit and upload the answer. Not allowed to edit the answer after submission.

Common Mistakes, Frequently Happened Mistakes, need Extra Precaution, Be Very Careful
(e) Submit or attached a WRONG file. Answer for Subject "AAA" submitted wrongly to Subject "BBB" in myPLS. Disaster! An incident like this (attach or submitted WRONG File & Wrong Answer, Swap Files) has happened in the previous exam (last semester).

Remember...to..upload exam file (the correct file), NOT wrong file...even submit assignment File

(f) If NOT able to upload exam answer at myPLS due to system problem, email immediately to exam@aeu.edu.my before the deadline, remember ... NOT email to AF/lecturer or Shingo.

(g) The Exam Answers can be saved and uploaded in Words file or PDF file, both also can accept, same like assignment files.

(h) Save the Exam answer File as: Subject Code_Student ID_Full Name_Exam August 2021

(2.1.2) Exam Format (Master of Education)

Total marks 20%
There are 2 essay questions, answer all the questions
Each question carry 10%

The answer for each question should have around 480 to 500 words. Total words for 2 questions are around 1,000 word.
Upload and submit the answer within 7 days, according to Exam Timetable at Attachment C at myAeU "Announcement".
Upload and submit together with turnitin report. Turnitin report should not below 20% similarity.
Submit in one (1) attempt only
Submit in one (1) file only
The file is under your name
Submit with PDF file (Use Words to type your answer. Convert the Words file into PDF file and submit at myPLS). Note: Do NOT send in ZIP file.
Do NOT need citation and reference
Use your own words

Processes
Step 1: Download exam questions in Words file
Step 2: Draft your answer and type in Words file
Step 3: Answer type in Words (1.5 spacing, Times New Roman, font size 12, do not need referencing and citation, turnitin report below 20%)
Step 4: Convert the final version of answer into PDF file, save the file under your name
Step 5: Upload & submit at myPLS (only allow for 1 attempt, 1 time submission, submit in one file only)
